About NRF

NRF (Nederlandse Radiateuren Fabriek) is a Dutch specialist in engine cooling and air-conditioning components, founded in 1927 in Mill, Netherlands. The brand focuses exclusively on the thermal management side of the engine bay β€” radiators, condensers, intercoolers, charge-air coolers, cooling fans, expansion tanks, oil coolers and A/C components.

Why thermal-management specialists matter

A radiator isn't just a tank with tubes through it β€” the fin density, tube alignment, core thickness and material gauge are tuned to match the OE thermal load. A radiator that physically fits but has the wrong cooling capacity will let the engine run hotter than designed, which costs MPG, accelerates oil degradation and can let coolant temperatures rise into the warning range under heavy load.

NRF's radiator range is engineered with the same fin-and-tube geometry as the OE part β€” same cooling capacity, same coolant flow restriction, same response to airflow. The condensers (for A/C) and intercoolers (for turbo engines) are similarly tuned to the OE specification.

What they cover

Coolant radiators, condensers, intercoolers, charge-air coolers, cooling fans (with motors), expansion tanks, water pumps (on certain platforms), oil coolers, A/C dryers/receivers and A/C expansion valves. NRF's range covers most European and many Asian vehicles, with particular strength on VW Group, Volvo, Renault, Citroen and Peugeot platforms.

When to choose NRF

For radiator or condenser replacement on European vehicles β€” NRF is one of the safer OE-equivalent choices. The part will physically fit and the cooling capacity will match the OE specification.

For intercoolers on turbo engines, NRF is one of the strongest aftermarket options β€” particularly important on diesel turbos where charge-air cooling efficiency directly affects power output and emissions.
