Mount only to perfectly aligned, reinforced points on the VW body; shim if needed so brackets sit co-planar.

Designed primarily for sun protection. In wind, heavy rain or snow, close the awning; in light rain, drop one leg lower for runoff and secure with tie-downs.
Always dry the canopy before storage (or reopen soon after to dry if packed wet).
Clean with mild soap and water only—avoid harsh cleaners and pressure-washing.
